Budget!!! Restaurant Reception??

Since we are on a tight budget.. we are thinking of having a restaurant reception? Any good ideas for a nice place that we can also play our own music on LI? 
we are only having 40-50 guest.
Thinking for no more than $60pp

** Also has anyone heard anything about Blackstone Steak House??

    Blackstone is very expensive (more like a min of $100pp), and from what I know, it does not have a seperate party room. What about a small Italian/seafood restaurant? Most of them have party rooms you can use and they are pretty inexpensive? Or what about the local fire house? They usually have a party hall you can rent for a few hundered dollars and you can decorate any way you want and most of them have a catering service, bar and you can choose to have servers if you want. It gives you a lot of freedom for a small amount of money.

    believe tutto pazzo in huntington has a seperate area. not sure about price.
    carriage house in babylon has a separate area upstairs.
    there's an italian family style place on old coutnry road in plainview (right across from McDs and down a bit away from the 135) that we have a family dinner in once a year (about 40 people) and it's very good. separate area in the back. i'm sorry i'm completely drawing a blank on the name. the price is pretty reasonable and the food is excellent.

    Thank you ladies both for your ideas!! :) i will check out both especially didn't even think or know that the fire house has halls tht you can rent out. I will definitely look into that. THANKS!!!

    How much of a budget are you on? I'm on a budget as well and I got a few AMAZING quotes from places like Fox Hollow, Crest Hollow, etc... They were all in the $60's pp. And that was for an August afternoon on a Saturday.

    I definitely had those places are on my list to check out! thanks. Is the menu good @ that $60 price? Budget - we def don't want to go over $70pp!

    San Souci in Seacliff and Garden City Caterers at Casino are also in that price range.

    I would recommend Honu in Huntington and Two is New Hyde Park.  Two is amazing.  It has a few different sized party rooms, and they have packages that should fit your budget.  I am trying to deide between Two and a NYC location.
