Getting in Shape

Workout Accountability: Monday

Morning, hope everyone had a nice weekend!

I ran 3 miles Friday, lifted Saturday and I ran 6 miles yesterday.  I was really pumped after yesterday's run, since that's the furthest distance I've ran so far!

Tonight is another lifting night followed by the elliptical and an ab workout. 

How did everyone else do?

    Great job on pushing up your mileage!!  I went to spin class this morning :)  It feels good to start my week off on a good note!
  • NIce job ladies :)  This weekend was a fail for working out.  It's tough to find time to go when we are never home!  I at least shoveled and did lots of cleaning when I was home so I wasn't sitting around the whole time.  Tonight I will hopefully be back at the gym :)

    I slept like complete shiit last night, but still managed to get myself up to get my ass handed to me by Insanity day 1.  Yikes.

  • Nice job ladies! I got in a 60 min work out at the gym yesterday. I was going to go this morning but FI got called by his job last night and was up until 3am working. I could not get back to sleep once he was paged out. So there was no getting up for me this morning. Spin class tomorrow!

    Good morning ladies!  Working out was a fail for me too. :(  We were so busy this weekend, I just could not find time.  However, Saturday we walked around for about 2 hours, which led my legs to be tired on Sunday.  So, I feel like I did a little something. 

    Tonight I'm going to do yoga and I think I might do my ab routine as well.

    J&K -- I'd like to know how the Insanity goes for you.  I've seen some commercials for it, and it looks really hard.  Good luck!

    "Happy" Monday! I shoveled with FI on Saturday and then ate my brains out at a chli cook-off that night. I tried combat that with an hour of Zumba yesterday + Jillian Michael's Six Pack (new video for me). I managed the Zumba, but only did about 10 minutes of the abs and I was done.

    Today I'll try an intermediate 20 minute Zumba class plus Level 2 30DS. I'll probably move up to Level 3 in the middle of the week.

    Thursday is FI's 33rd b-day, so I am planning rosemary filet, baked mac & cheese with broccoli, and strawberry cheesecake . . . all from skinnytaste, so it's not too bad.

    Didn't lose any lbs this past week and I was pretty disappointed. Kicking it up a notch this week.

  • Thursday/Friday/Saturday were fails for me, didn't find any time for exercise! Tried to make up for it yesterday with 40 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes of weight lifting.

    Gonna try to fit 60 minutes of cardio in tonight after I run some errands.

  • Ran 3 miles on Friday, and 2 miles last night (got too hot, fan broke had to quit). Tonight P90X Plyo.
