How many people came to/are coming to your wedding?

We invited 130 people and have 55 coming so far. It's been really frustrating. Most of the people not coming are his extended family (Aunts and Uncles) who have been involved in his life. Is 55 too small? We are having it at the Signature which is small/intimate enough for it to work...I'm just starting to stress out with 16 days left....

I suppose it depends on the requirements of your venue - do you have to meet a minimum? If not, I wouldn't worry about it. Celebrate to the fullest with those who are able to be there! Also, when is your RSVP date? I would not stress until that date comes and goes, then get to a phone and start calling those that have not responded ASAP!

We had about 70% of our guest list come to the wedding.  Our wedding was 3 hours from where we live, so it was OOT for a lot of guests.  I think most people estimate about 80% of their guest list to come.Like sunflower said, it depends on your venue's rules.  My venue had a rental fee, but if I met their food and beverage minimum, it was waived.I think 55 guests is fine as long as you don't have some huge venue, which you don't.  Just try to appreciate the guests you do have and don't worry about the guests who don't come.  You'll have a great day either way.

There wasn't a minimum to meet at the Signature at West Neck. I'm just generally freaking out....13 days til the big day!

We had 69% RSVP that they were coming, but only 59% actually show on the day.  I was frustrated because if we had known, we would have set up completely differently!
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!

We invited about 96 and had maybe 45 show up.  About 68 rsvp'd yes.  It was small and the reception space was a little empty since we had more than 20 extra seats.  It was fine though.  It's all over so quick it's hardly noticeable.

Wow I can't beleive the percentage of NO rsvp's everyone has gotten! I have read multiple places to plan on 80% of your guest list coming but truly the people we have invited are the people we want to be there - we haven't invited tons of people who are "kind of" friends with us or our families so I can't imagine only having 70% come.... It makes planning and budgeting so hard! I can't image the stressful anticipation time between invitations being sent and the RSVP deadline!!
