I left retail two weeks ago. This is the second week I am at my new job as a one year old teacher at a childcare center. My FI's mom called me tonight and told me about an opening in an elementary school in my FI's hometown. The position I applied for is a fourth grade teacher. I loved fourth grade so much when I student taught it. Also my FI and I really want to move back to his hometown. We are only an hour and a half away, but we are thinking ahead for when we start having a family, we want to have other family members closeby to help us. I am going to call and followup on my application tomorrow, everything is online. I am going to try to set up a meeting with the principal on Friday when I am in town to get the marriage license. I am nervous though... What if they want an interview when I am scheduled to work my new job? What will I tell the new job if I have to call off to go to an interview? I don't want to get my current job upset with me by calling off, just in case I don't get the teaching job. And the wedding is 25 days away!!!
