Now might need a sash

So I just left my third fitting and it looks like I might end up needing a sash to cover a seem that is needed to fix some bunching that is happing. The link is the dress I have where someone has added a sash. https://www.stillwhite.com.au/43383-alfred-angelo

I am looking at this one http://forums.theknot.com/post/discussion/https//www.etsy.com/listing/399483965/sale-something-blue-bridal-sash-sapphire?ref=market, as it will match the earrings I got and wondering it if it too "busy". Also my colors are gray and pink. I did the blue in the earrings thinking it would be something blue and go well with my eyes, but I am not sure about how adding more on the sash would look. Thoughts?

The link to the sash isn't working, can you repost it?

Your dress is gorgeous, have you tried it with the sash? I would think that, if you really need one, something plain would be best so it doesn't distract from the dress. It's a statement piece.

Why do you think the seam needs to be covered?

I'd have to see the dress with a sash on. I would keep the sash very simple, as I don't think the dress lends itself well to a sash (it's got a lot going on already with two distinct pieces to the dress).

It is not plain by any means. I could be wrong about needing a sash to cover the seem, but it might because of the way the lace will line up. The seamstress could make one I think, as she seems to have all the stuff needed and held a plain white ribbon up to where she is cutting.

My gut says that if you do need a sash, simple would be better, especially with the complexity of your dress. Would it be possible to have a sash made that matches the fabric/flow of the ruffles at the bottom of your dress? Like maybe some leftover fabric if you had it shortened...
