Since we’ll be serving wine and soda at our wedding, I wanted to make sure that we recycle all of our glass and aluminum. I found this small group, Greeni, that will provide a bin for the event and pick it up the next day. The fee is $10 for the bin and $40 for the service. It’s totally worth it to know that things will be recycled, but not have to transport it ourselves. Here’s their website www.greenirecycling.com/">www.greenirecycling.com/
Me too! I'm doing clear wine bottles for water and making labels or tags on them. It's a relief to not only recycle, but know that my family doesn't have deal with heavy glass, etc.
Awesome, That is cool, I am not a big greenie, but I like to be a good steward of the Beautiful Earth that God has entrusted us with. Glass and metals can totally be shredded and reused! Even waterbottles get reused. I have a friend who lives in Tokyo, and when cars get trashed, they totally recycle them in just a few days. No junkyards, no scrap laying around.
