Hi! I'm new to this board. Fiance and I have been engaged since last Christmas. We were originally planning a destination wedding for next Christmas in Mexico, but we are now opting for a big wedding at home.

Our date is Oct 27th. It's actually going to be 5 years from the day we met.

Plan is to get married Oct 7th 2017. My second and his first and I'm a bit older (Ill be 38 next year) I've done this before and know what is necessary and what isn't plus its going to be less than 50 people as opposed to 150 at my first.

I'm here. Our date is not really set in stone, but we like the idea of October. Probably October 29th, which is a Sunday so most people in Japan will have that day free.

I'm in a weird place with the wedding planning. First off, I am a second time bride (but the board for that is not really what I'm looking for). It's also sort of a destination wedding, because I am doing part of the planning form the U.S.

Our theme is Vintage Autumn, but that board is basically closed.

I also don't really fit in the cultural boards, even though it is a Japanese/western style wedding.

So I'm going to post here a little bit.
