Will it clash?

I found the perfect pair of shoes to wear with my wedding dress... unfortunatly they are Christian Louboutins and have a red sole... is the red going to clash with my ivory gown and purple, turquois and green wedding colors?
My Groom and his GMs are in clack and white suits and my BMs are in black dresses and either black, purple or turquoise satin pumps.

That might clash a little, but how often are people going to see the bottom of your shoes?

Can you cover the red temporarily? That is a downgrade, forget I just asked that question. lol

Christian Louboutins are known for their red soles... and I have seen people wear them with any and every color, so I'm not sure I would be too concerned with clashing. They are amazing shoes, and I think their red soles add to their amazingness.

I personally think the random splash of color is nice... and rarely would be seen, especially if your dress is long.

I say if you're willing to splurge, go for it...

Girl, if you're wearing Loubies, who gives a rat's ass if they can see the red soles? It's a trademark! Those are blingtastic!!! What style are those?

This was my thoughts exactly. If I were gonna wear Louboutins down the aisle, I'd be jumping up and clicking my heels all the way dowm the aisle and back just so everyone could see the red soles. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /> I say wear those shoes and work them. I'm wearing my Louboutins even though my colors are pink and charcoal! NO ONE will be thinking about whether your soles are clashing with your colors!

I think red looks great with pink... and probably charcoal, too. I am definitely warming up to the idea now. I do love the shoes... and I have been looking forever. Besides they seem relatively inexpensive for CLs.
