Hi all. We are getting married on October 15th, 2017. We are considering doing a road trip from San Antonio, TX to Colorado. We were looking for some input and ideas on where to stay or what to stop and see. We will have two weeks off work. We are really interested in seeing mountains and beautiful scenery. We require a mountain view from our room in Colorado and a jacuzzi tub in the room as well.
Thanks all!

Are you planning to ski? There are many ski lodges in Vail and Aspen. Steamboat Springs would also be a possibility if skiing is your thing.
I live on the Western Slope, which looks more like Utah than most people's idea of Colorado. If you want a change, check out Glenwood Springs (amazing hot springs and canyons) or Gateway Canyons Resort near the Utah border. http://www.gatewaycanyons.com/ Not too far for a day trip to Moab, Utah to see Arches National Park. https://www.nps.gov/arch/index.htm
I suggest you watch this program to see more possibilities, since you have a lot of time.

I agree with CMG that Glenwood Springs is worth checking out. If you want to go off the beaten path check out Redstone, Crested Butte, Leadville. There are a few passes that might still be open during that time. Independence Pass is one that is cool. Cute little towns, hiking areas (all of which this year I was able to hike well into Nov.) Although some years it will be closed already. This year it didn't close until well into Nov. Other years, first of Oct. Just depends on Mother Nature.
I LOVE Moab, UT. Only 3 hours from Glenwood Springs. Great hiking. Arches is pretty cool if you haven't been.
