Hello, So I had sent a save the date to a family friend(married at the time of me sending it) they recently got divorced and she has a restraining order on the ex husband(who is still invited) and will randomly show up places just to cause trouble. I decided it was best to remove her from the list. is this totally wrong since I did sent a save the date? I know its my day and Id rather not have that drama at my wedding
So, this is pretty cold, and selfish outlook. She is clearly going through something terrible and you're worried about drama? Nice priorities.
Are you closer with him, which is why is he still invited? Are you no longer friends with her? If they are divorced, they are no longer a social unit, and as such do not need to be invited together.
And TBH, I'm on PPs side with this one. The fact that they are divorced nullifies his invite, IMO. But revoking the family friend's invite while she is going through, I assume, the most difficult time in her life? Now THAT is rude.
Apparently, blunt is the new rude. Charlotte was in no way rude in saying maybe you should think about what she's going through instead of what impact it has on your wedding. Major life changes > your party.

Edited for clarification.
