  The dress is lovely and your plans sound great. I do think a necklace is possible with that dress. But if you do one, I'd do a simple pendant and teardrop earrings:

  It could also be fun to add "something blue" and do a sapphire teardrop earring with no necklace.
  
  In terms of hair, the low bun sounds nice, but I'd snazz it up a tiny bit from that - it's your wedding after all and you are going with a simple dress and jewelry. You could even add a clip to dress up the back.

  Your plans sound perfectly lovely!  I think you should keep it simple and classic.  The dress is beautiful!  A simple strand of pearls might look nice with pearl drop earrings, maybe?

  Your dress is gorgeous! I agree with @southernbelle0915: if you wear a necklace, keep it simple. But really, I'd just wear earrings, maybe a bracelet, and something blingy (is that a word? It is now.) for your hair.
  
  As for your hairstyle, I'd go with either a low bun or a French twist.

  I second a French twist or a Gibson tuck if your hair isn't too long or too short for either of those.

  Your dress is beautiful! I agree with pps about simple earrings. I like the idea of adding a bracelet and blingy hair pins or combs like in the post above.

  Thanks all! @southernbelle0915 thanks for the photos, those are definitely a good upgrade from a plain low bun. I also like the idea of a Gibson tuck, @LadyCatherineDB. We'll see what my hair and MUA can do with my hair. 

  I really appreciate all the compliments on my chosen dress. It is very me and I love it but I certainly got a couple "well it isn't very fancy" and "if that's what you want" comments.

  I've ordered these hairpins: https://www.blairnadeau.com/collections/hair-pins-hair-clips/products/luna-star-hair-pins?variant=37696099783 in gold and non-iridescent for dressing up the back of my head. I probably won't wear a bracelet, I feel like they make my arms look short and stubby when wearing sleeveless clothing.

  I've been lurking for awhile so my plans are well in line with the etiquette learned from this site and appropriate to my fiancé's and my style and the formality of our event. Now if only my aunt would let go of the "well it is tradition for XYZ" everything would be wonderful!
