We are going to mount our TV this week (the green tape is about where the top of the tv will be. Obviously, we need an entertainment center that is more proptionate to the size of the TV. I was thinking a more vintage piece of furniture would be cool but now I'm not sure. Ideas?

The opposite wall is eggplant with a large dark gray sectional. Our living room is fairly large, we have 100" between the current TV stand and our ottoman.

I have never even heard of Birch Lane...those are cute!

The wall is 7.5' tall and 7' wide. Here's the rest of the room (sorry if they're huge, this is from my phone).

That's a huge wall! I wouldn't get anything wider than 60" so it doesn't feel too crowded... You might also try Home Goods, if there is one near you. Pier 1 Imports also has some cute media stand options...

Do you need it to be an entertainment center? DD and SIL put my mom's cedar chest beneath their TV. I think a vintage piece (entertainment center or not) would look great with the rest of your decor - which I really like BTW.

@southernbelle0915 43" is the TV width.

@ILoveBeachMusic It doesn't need to be an entertainment center, but in a perfect world I can hide the ugly cable box and playstation but still have them be visible enough for the sensors.

I would try to find something like the small cabinet you have on the wall with the window. But exactly where that is- I am no good to you

. The other option, is to check out Pinterest and see if you can make something from crates.

We can't make anything, we're the worst haha. We have been trying to find a handyman just to hang the TV!

We actually attached the cable box to the wall behind the TV when we mounted it. Cables and box hidden.

If you're going to mount the TV on the wall, I would go for something like a low coffee table rather than an entertainment unit. It will probably help make that space feel less cluttered. It wouldn't hide the PS, but if you got a CordMate or something similar, you could at least hide all the ugly cables coming out of the TV.

Long time lurker here. *hi!* I just went through a similar search for my own entertainment center so, I recognize that cabinet on the wall from Target's Threshold line.

They do make 2 different entertainment options at pretty reasonable prices too. Unfortunately, they don't have that pretty gray color like your cabinet any more but I think the black or even white one could work too.

Thanks all! We ended up getting this entertainment center from Joss and Main and put it all together today. The center is supposed to have doors, but we made a mistake and weren't going back. We also did some other rearranging.

I am happyish with the results; I think the TV is too high and the floor lamp looks cheap.

ETA KGs aren't letting my upload photos. Oops.
