garter questions

Hi!!! our colors are blue purple and silver.. i was starting to look at garters and fell in love with one that has peacock feathers.. does my garter have to match? since im not having peacocks at all anywhere else would it look weird??

    You can get whatever you want.  Very few people will (should) see your garter anyway.

    Yeah, your garter doesn't have to match anything. It should really be a personal choice for you. I'm wearing my grandmother's garter, that's light blue with bright white lace. I'm wearing an ivory dress and our colours are navy and green. The garter doesn't have to coordinate with anything.

    A lot of people have two garters, one that gets tossed and one you keep... I say get the one you love and make that your keeper.

    My friend had a camo and blaze orange garter for her H. The toss garter was was light blue.  He wedding colors were red and silver.  No matching necessary!
