My FI and I are planning a destination wedding in Mexico in April of 2013 -- but are also hosting a reception back home, Iowa, in May of 2013. 

How do I word save the dates to include both dates (I want everyone to be invited to both)? We have a wedding website that includes all of the details so I would like to include this on the STD as well.

    We have researched this -- technically, we will be married before we go to Mexico (we are just having a ceremony there) -- we are marrying here in IA before we go with the Justice of Peace due to the strict regulations in Mexico. 

    We are calling it a wedding celebration instead of a reception -- but will be reception like atmosphere. There will be no reception in Mexico at our request, only wine & cake. 

    I was thinking something along the lines of : 

     

    Save the date for the wedding of Bride and Groom
    April ##, 2013 in Riviera Maya, Mexico at _____ Resort/Hotel/etc

    Following the ceremony, a wedding celebration will be held in ___, Iowa on May, XX 2013
