I had a makeup trial on Saturday, at which I asked the MUA about mineral makeup and makeup with SPF not photographing well (appears ghostly or gray in photos). There are many beauty boards and articles discussing this topic but she didn't know anything about it. While I know that MUAs have their preferences about brands they work with, I would have thought she would've known something that seems to be an industry standard. She does makeup for professional photo shoots for magazines and works with many brides.
Now I am panicking about my makeup. I'm researching the products she uses, and the foundation does have SPF. Also the finishing powder is mineral based. I splurged on my photographer because photos are very important to me, and I do not want to look super pale in each shot.
Has anyone heard whether this makeup/photography tip is legit? I've sent a message to my photographer to see if she has any makeup tips as well.
