    I added an and in the year.   A lot of experts recommend it.   If you don't have it, it's no big deal.

    The time should be half AFTER five 'o clock.   If you want to note the time of day then it should be "at half after five o'clock in the afternoon".  Evening does not start until 6 PM.  However, there's no confusion here.   No one will show up to your wedding at 5:30 AM so you can eliminate the time entirely.

    Your response card wording is fine but I'd probably flip the date request with the # of seats.  To continue the formality I would consider adjusting the date to "Kindly reply by the first of November".    I changed it to "number of" persons attending but again, this isn't a huge deal.

    @banana468 - thank you so much!  All good suggestions (I incorporated them all).  As far is the reply card goes, do you mean to switch it so it reads this way?

    Kindly reply by the first of November
    __ seats have been reserved for you

  • Yes!   I made the switch and forgot to change the wording.   Response card isn't as big a deal but I like keeping the wording / formality of dates the same.

    @banana468  thanks again!! :)

  • You really don't need the year at all. No one is going to get an invitation in September and think the November wedding is in 2018.

    That makes sense, but I will probably keep it for the one picture of the invite that goes in our wedding album.
