In regards to my previous post - I just learned a valuable lesson!

In regards to my previous post ...I just learned a valuable lesson!

I feel like a complete jerk .... I just heard back from Ashley Designs...her assistant contacted me.  Ashley's husband was hurt in Iraq and she is with him
at a hospital in Michigan.  Once her assistant can get the log in info for fed ex
she will track the pkg but she has to wait for Ashley. My candle situation
doesn't pail in comparison to what she is going thru. I'm such an a$$!

I am now going home to say 10 hail mary's and and our father and not only pray for her husband but realize the valuable lesson I just learned.
There is life that goes on outside of wedding planning. I guess from the bad experiences I was having one after the other I just thought this was par for the course.  MY BAD - and I fell like a friggin idiot and a really bad person - which I'm not - I'm obviously out of character these days. Frown

Sorry she wanted to re-post.

I think it is very big of you to admit your mistake! We all get a little nutty when it comes to wedding planning. Just try to enjoy this time & don't let things get to you. Life is way too short to be angry. Just think...you are preparing to marry your best friend!

That's awful, I feel so bad for her!  Don't beat yourself up too much, though - there was no way you could have known what was going on. She does have a responsibility to her customers that she should have attended to (if nothing else, she owed her clients an email stating that she is going through some personal difficulties and she may be unreachable for a while, orders may be delayed, etc.), but forgetting to do that is forgivable under the circumstances. Anyway, as you said, the best thing you can do is chalk it up to a lesson learned and move forward more mindful of the challenges other people might be facing before getting upset with them too quickly.

You definitely shouldn't beat yourself up or feel stupid. There is no way you could've known.

Yes, you are so right. Above all I should know life is too short from the very things that have happened to me in the past 4 yrs. Losing my mom, my sister being diagnosed with breast cancer and if I went on w/ the rest it'll make your head spin.

But I do believe in angels and SO truly feel my mom did bring my best friend to me. I couldn't ask for anything more. I'm going to heed everyone's advice, not beat myself up too much and move on from it and learn. My big day is coming up on May 7th and effective today I'm stopping the drama and enjoying.

Thanks so much to all of you for being there. I feel much better since I read your posts! You guys rock!  Have a good night.
