Last Invite Q...I swear

How do I handle addressing the invite to a friend and guest? I have pocketfolds and I don't want to write directly on them (there is no inner envelope). Do I just address it to "Ms. Suzy Snowflake" and call the friend to let her know she can bring a date?

And just double checking....
Outer envelope okay?:

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
Peter, Paul, and Mary
123 Main Street
Awesometown, NH 12345

Anniversary
a married bio

    Oh, Peter, Paul, and Mary would be the kids of Mr. & Mrs. Smith

    I just did:
    Mr & Mrs. John Smith and Family (for people whose kids are invited)
    and
    Ms. Suzy Snowflake & Guest (for people who were allowed to bring a date
    or
    Ms. Suzy Snowflake & Mr. Boyfriend Name (if the person had a significant other who was invited)

    I think you could just do it the way you have it for the families, but I think you should indicate "& Guest" if that's the case.  For the record, I didn't have inner envelopes either.  HTH!

    I think its okay to put "and Guest" on the outer envelope (bc traditionally the names would be put on the inner envelope)

    and I was planning on putting "And Family" for people with kids..

    but if you know the name for the guest....use that

    I am having inner envelopes though so I am putting the names on the inside ..

    OH! If it helps the invite for the wedding that I got this weekend said 
    Mr and Mrs Arez's Dad Lastname
    Arez and Arez's sister Lastname

    I would put and guest.  I did without on my invites, and now wish I did... would have helped eliminate a the many questions I received..... (oops)

    As for addressing the family I did the same as you.  :)

    No advice but Suzy Snowflake is something I haven't heard in a long time, an old dance teacher of mine used to use it all the time. I just found it very funny.
