Do any of you ladies have any planning done or started for your March 2013 wedding?
I've got my ceremony location and reception location picked out but not booked. I know where I'm getting my flowers, my colors, most likely my photographer. And I still have 2 1/2 years to go!
Re: Plans
I can agree with everyone above. The creative juice are flowing but nothing is set in stone. Even though I did buy my dress (killer price and great policy if I gain/lose to much weight and the dress requires more than just alterations), alot of venues havent even created their calandars for that time. I am waiting until after the holiday and pretty much until summer to begin final plans and booking. I cant wait either...its going to be the longest 2 1/2 years EVER...but Im pretty sure I'll need all the time I can get once I really get into things. My advice is to do things as they come up....and i LOVE the idea of the inspiration board. I've done something similar, but in book form. That way all of my (ever-changing) ideas are in one spot and I can see what fits and what doesnt. It satisfies my need to think wedding 24/7 for now! Good luck!
We do not have an exact date set.. i was afriad of picking my dream date, and than my dream venue not being able to have us that weekend. But we do know we want a march 2013 wedding.
Right now we are working on a must have guest list so we can figure out exactlly what size venue we need to book. I already have started picking out colors.. we are going along the lines or cornflower blue or Malibu from the davids bridal collection... Something Tealy/blue. We cant decide on a accent color though, all of the colors look so fun! We have our WP picked out (it was easy, my 4 sisters and his 2 brothers along with his 2 lifelong friends.) Other than that ive started looking on websites at bridesmaid dresses, just to get and idea of what i like. I have 4 VERYYYY diff body types that i have to find somehting to flatter all of them.
We want an outside ceremony, which is easy cause we live on the coast of Florida.
Im just glad we have 2 years to figure it all out and enjoy ourselves. Its a relief already to not feel rushed into cramming it all into a few shorts months. I only get to do this once, right? So we are trying to enjoy it everth step of the way.
[QUOTE]Hey MissRutig! I also live in Florida and right now it's very difficult to find a venue because we aren't sure how the weather will be (rainy, sunny,or muggy, due to how unpredictable weather in FL is). We really would love to find a place that we can have inside/outside as well. Have you looked at any venues that really catch your eye?

We are the the east Coast. Melbourne Beach area. I havnt gone out looking yet at any specific venues and im having a hard time online because everything seems to be based more in the Orlando website on this site and a few others. Ive been crazy busy with my little sisters grad so at the end of this month th hunt starts.
I would love an outside wedding, but like you said.. stupid florida weather is not always willing to participate. So im def looking for something that can be inside, just incase a wonderful storm decided to come threw. Are yall planning on staying on the west coast?
I am booked and so far ahead of the game I am afraid I will be bored all next year! LOL. We have the church booked, reception venue booked, DJ, photographer and videographer booked. We also just ordered the "jackets" for our invitations. The actual printed inserts will be done closer to the date in case any last minute changes are made.
Divosgurl16 - i know exactly what you mean! I made my appointment at Kleinfelds for this January so I can start shopping around!
