It's been a while since we've done this and I landed on a couple goldmines I'd like to share:

First - Mono B Leggings - easily found on Amazon
They fit like an athletic legging (aka spanx for dat ass) while being cute enough to wear for work, etc. I've probably purchased 6 pairs in the past few weeks.

Second: BADgal Bang Mascara by Benefit
I usually wear two different mascaras; one for length and another for thickness. No longer my friends!

UGH @NowIAmSyp I used to LOVE the Smashbox primers for my crazy oily skin. But they make me break out now. I just gave a barely used tube to my sister. I might give that Paula's choice a shot!

The Paula's Choice toner is apparently a "cult-fave"- I'm just late to the party, as usual, lol. But I do really love it- my skin definitely looks better... more even, pores appear smaller, I get less shiny through the day. I'm very happy!! Give it a shot- would love to hear what you think after using it for like a month or so...

Imagine if your favorite facial at your favorite spa had its own cleanser- mine does

Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Foam (by Bliss) is definitely one of my favorite things. It cleanses gently and is versatile- my skin dries a bit in the winter but this product keeps me moist. It also keeps my oiliness in check over the summer. And just gives me a nice glow year-round.

My plantar fasciitis has been pretty bad since the fall (it’s been very on and off for about five years) so the shoe brand Kuru is another favorite thing. Walking/being on my feet is tolerable thanks to their ligament-stretching, arch-supporting shoes. (I’m 33 not 83 if anyone’s wondering

)

What exactly is the Skin Perfecting Liquid? I was thinking it was a toner, but it said use after toning, and someone said they use it as a moisturizer. I don't think we get PC in Canada, but I think we can order online

Ooh fun!

DivaCup. I used one for years before having my daughter. Then, I didn't get around to buying a new one in the larger size before my period came back. Then I decided to switch brands and umm, no. It did NOT work! Then, I couldn't find one local without being quite a bit more expensive than online. So I didn't buy one because I had a coupon that was hard to apply online. So I've suffered through several periods with tampons and pads and forgot how much I hated them and how badly tampons leak. I finally got the DivaCup size 2 today and *insert praise hands emoji here*.

Real Techniques Beauty Sponge (knock-off Beauty Blender). I used to use disposable foam wedges dry and then, for the last year, a paint-brush style (so not a stippling brush like is popular with beauty bloggers right now) foundation brush. The damp sponge is so good! My foundation stays on better. It doesn't "bead up" for lack of a better term in each pore like with the brush. And I say this as someone who has bad acne and likes full coverage, which generally you're supposed to use a brush to get. I also use the Jaclyn Hill technique of using the damp sponge with translucent powder to set the face. So good!

Ok, great catch- I guess it's not actually a "toner"- but that's how I use it. It's actually an exfoliator- it uses BHA acid (salicylic acid) to even out skin, decongest/tighten pores, smooth over wrinkles, etc.

I've been using it for about a month and totally see a difference already (alas, it's taking longer on my crow's feet, lol- but my skin is more even and pores definitely tightened up).

I wash my face, swipe this over my skin, then moisturize- easy peasy

NYX in general.
Drugstore brands are really upping their game!

My fave felt tip liner was Kat Von D tattoo liner, but NYX's epic liner may be a dupe!

@kimmiinthemitten I have that mascara on my wish list! I'm so glad to hear it's as good as I'd hoped

BadGAL was the first high end mascara I ever bought

Okay I've got a couple; a pair of high waisted yoga pants (90 degree by Reflex) that are only $22 on Amazon.

Also UD's makeup setting spray; it holds my makeup in place all day.

My eyebrows have gotten sparse over the years. I've tried all kinds of eyebrow mousses, powders, pencils, including higher end cosmetics. Last time I was in the drugstore, I picked up NYX eyebrow mascara. The chocolate is a nice soft brown. It fills out my brows and stays all day, unlike the pencils.

In general, drug store brands have been really upping their game. I'm really impressed. My friend uses Maybelline Tattoo gel for her brows, and they look amazing

Mothers of babies.... this portable travel high chair is a godsend. My sister gave it to me as a Christmas present.

DD likes to sit on laps and you can literally strap your baby to your lap no matter where you're sitting. It fits in the diaper bag easy-peasy. We haven't tried strapping her to a chair yet. This came in handy the other day when the only tables at a grille we went to were high and the standard restaurant high-chair wasn't tall enough.
