Where did you get your undergarments

Here is my dress. I am really hoping to wear a bra with a strap.  It has a corset back but the back is a little lower.  I am at a lost as to wear to go. I am not so much worried about price its about what fits lol.   My bridal shop doesn't do undergarments.  I got my bridesmaid dresses at davids and they told me to bring my dress there that they would fit me.  So that is an options  Here is a link to my dress so you can see the back.

Re: Where did you get your undergarments

  • I bought my dress from David's Bridal.  I have panties from Lane Bryant and a long line bra from David's Bridal.

  • My dress was very similar to what yours is...I just wore my normal every day push-up bra and the seamstress put a loop in the back of the dress that the back of the bra strap could fit through so it would stay under the top of the dress. (I hope that made sense)

It was a lot more comfortable for me because it was a bra I was already comfortable in, AND it was a heck of a lot cheaper than buying special stuff that I would probably never wear again.

  • I got mine from Amazon (I tried the longline bra from DB but it just didn't fit right) Mine was cheap (on sale when I bought it,) comfortable, and I've actually worn it more than once since buying it! http://www.amazon.com/Carnival-Womens-Front-Closure-Silhouette/dp/B002ECF1LK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

What a clever idea.   I would love to get away with a regular bra with straps.

  • I love your dress! Mine is very similar and I have the same problem. My dressmaker was going to sew cups in mine but I wonder if your solution might be better. I think I'll run it by her... Thanks!
  • So I think I figured it out.  I am ordering two of these bras.  I am either a 42D or 44C for lane bryant bras and then return one of them because its online only.

    Then I am ordering this
