Addressed two wedding invitations tonight...

and it felt SO good!!!!!  There are certain things, milestones if you will, that make this wedding feel so "real" (b/c it's obviously not fake lol!) and so close and this is one of them!  Although I could only address two b/c I haven't received mailing addresses from about 92% of invited guests!!!  Still felt good...going to send yet another email, sent a bunch of texts already and then I am going to hit the books.  Trying to find a balance between wedding stuff and my studies ;-)

    What a great check! How many are you inviting? (Just curious) We addressed 101 invites last week -- we cheated and printed them on the computer with a fancy font.

    Jenny I have about 60 going out...FI still hasnt given me his exact guest list (sooooo annoying) but nowhere close to 100 lol I am handwriting them all...mostly because i like my penmenship. Kimmy i can imagine how insanely ecstatic i am going to feel when they are mailed!!

    YAY Nicole!!  I agree, the invites were one of my favorite things!!  Mailing and receiving the RSVPs has been one of my favorite parts so far!  I would get so excited to go home and get the mail (sounds silly I know)!!!!! 

    PS - I am jealous of your penmenship!  I had the addresses printed on the envelopes when I order them!  My handwriting is horrible!!

    aww Trudy, lol!!  I can't wait to be excited for the mail!  All I ever get is bills and junk...and not even that many bills come in the mail b/c it's pretty much all electronic now.

    Yea my coworker likes my penmenship so much she makes me label the Christmas tip envelopes for the building lol!  Although it's weird, as nice as it can be, I can also write like chicken scratch...esp when jotting down notes quickly...while in college I had to rewrite a lot of my notes whenever I got home!

    Yay, that's so exciting! I got about a 1/3 of mine addressed while I was home sick one day a few weeks ago, and haven't even looked at them since. I actually need to get back working at it, since we need to send them out in early November (have to send them a little earlier than etiquette dictates, since the resort needs our final numbers really early, and our block of rooms have to be paid in full by Jan 2).
