Anyone ever used Chez RuRene as their baker for their wedding? I had one of their cakes recently and it was so good. It was really pretty, too. Any information would be much appreciated.

    My friend used them for her wedding cake. It was beautiful and delicious but I do remember her saying that the day before the wedding they called and asked her what design she wanted etc bc they lost the paperwork. It all turned out and the cake was beautiful. They did get the grooms cake from Haydel's because they wouldn't do a shaped cake. We are using Haydel's for our wedding cake.

    Thanks. That's crazy that they wouldn't do a shaped cake for the groom's cake because on their website they have all kinds of shaped cakes. No worries, though, our friend is doing the groom's cake.
