Davids Bridal

Did anyone else get their dress at davids bridal and then decide after they paid for it, it wasnt the right dress?  Do they let you return it?  Im so irritated with them right now.  I spent over 900.00 for my dress and they cant even call me to tell me it came in?  I had to call them?! and the bridesmaids dresses were ordered back in December and they still arent in and they have no explination for me why all this is?  Any similar experiences?

I bought my dress from David's.  There's a  no return policy.  I had a hard time exchanging my bra thing for a bigger size.  It had tags and everything.  I had an even harder time when I got home, opened the garment bag and found that they never gave me my crinoline.  I do know dress orders can take a few months sometimes.  You should demand an explanation of where your dresses are.  Don't let them get off easy.  Speak to a manager if you have to and make them give you an estimated date.

The biggest problem is that the girl that sold me the dress is not longer with them.  So, I dont feel like I have anyone who cares enough because they already got the commission on it.   I dont want to go bridezilla on them, but i almost feel it coming on :-)

If it gets to be too long with no answer you need to go bridezilla on them.  Bug them until they give an answer.  The girl that helped me left right after I bought my items as well but I still harassed until I got what I wanted.

Better yet...go into the store and demand answers in person.  That would be more effective than a phone call.

I bought my dress from them and had a great experience but I do remember that all sales were final there and they make you sign for your items when you pick them up. They also made me sign something when I bought my dress that stated that all sales were final.

I'm sorry you are having such a negative experience with them and I agree with the pp that showing up will probably get results. I have found that when I call places I get crappy customer service compared to in person. This way they can't transfer you to a black hole which is what always seems to happen to me. GL and let us know what happens

David's Bridal was the first place I went and I even had an appointment and I felt really ignored.. no one really helped me. I wouldn't feel bad about talking to them, it's your money and you deserve answers.

I don't think finding out what is going on with your dresses is being bridezilla at all! I agree with everyone else, go in there and find out what is going on. If you don't they'll just continue walking all over you.

I too went there for my first place and ended up leaving because I felt ignored and the sales people weren't very helpful. I ended up buying my dress at Mariposa Boutique and I have been extremely happy with their service.

I agree go down there and figure out where your dresses are!!! I know if I had someone complaining on the phone I wouldn't do all I could to help them but if that person were in front of me, I would do anything I could to help them out.

I guess David's Bridal has a history of ignoring their clients because the same thing happened to my cousin when we went there to look at dresses.  We walked around for 30 minutes and when we weren't even asked if we needed help we left... it was insane.  I will not be giving them my business either.
