  Not too much here. It’s rainy and dreary and I’m still pretty sleepy. I can’t really complain because I’ve basically worked three days in the last 3 weeks. And I have an off site training tomorrow. So I’m really not working much and not complaining. 
  
  And I’m grabbing lunch with a work friend at a new place. I rarely eat out during the day so I’m treating myself. My life is clearly super exciting.

  How does this short week feel so long?? 
  
  It's been raining since Tuesday, and my commute has been AWFUL going each way. I need a break because I feel like I'm going to lose my mind.

  I'm currently making a list of things I need to do this week. Some is menial things but I think a list might make me feel better {mainly for the crossing out part lol}
  
  BabyKitten got her 12 month shots. She's 16lbs 2oz ... healthy but a pipsqueak. She was showing off at the dr with all the things she could do lol which is good because it's less things the dr has to ask.
  We got some cortisone cream for her ankle. We've been able to keep the eczema mostly under control, but it just won't heal. About a week with the prescription and it should be good.
  We're starting transition to milk this weekend. We're waiting only because after her shots yesterday, she was a little off. I just wanna make sure if there's a reaction that we don't expect, that it's not from milk. She's had cheese and yogurt, etc so I'm not expecting any issues. I think once we're fully off formula, I'll start to sippy cup more. We do give her water in a sippy, so it's not a surprise lol
  
  My upstairs needs desperately to be vacuumed and cat box needs to be done.
  
  M is gonna watch BabyKitten and start dinner while I start cleaning.

  Today was a good day. Although there is something, or multiple things, going around and 2/5 babies were sick so we had coffee at my house instead of my friends today. 
  
  MKD- Hope Babypants is feeling okay after her shots. DS got his 6month shots yesterday (a little late because he was sick a couple weeks ago and I wanted to make sure he was fully recovered). He weighs 9.9kg, or 21.8lbs. He is a chunky monkey for sure, lol. 
  Have you seen the Nuk Magic Cup? We have it and it is amazing. It seriously does not leak.
  
  I have a couple classes to teach tomorrow but it mostly will just be packing and playing before our trip Saturday. Then get me poolside, lol.

  My work has two blood drives a year and one is today.  Which is fantastic because it's pretty much the only way I have time to donate blood.  Except I forgot to avoid coffee and my iron was just a hair too low for me to donate .  It's supposed to be at 38 and mine was at 37.  They were nice and still let me take a t-shirt.  But it's a cause I strongly believe in, plus I have a rarer blood type (B-), so I'm disappointed I couldn't do my part to help.
  
  I'm leaving work early to go fight a bs traffic ticket.  It happened back in Dec, just a few days before Christmas to add even more insult to injury.  At any rate, there is a really confusing intersection in an area of town (suburb) I'm rarely in.  I realized I was in the wrong lane for where I needed to go, ie apparently there are THREE lanes that turn left and only two that go straight.  Did not change lanes in the intersection...that would be a traffic violation.  Changed lanes BEFORE the intersection.  Oh, just like NINE other cars doing the exact same thing did...a testament to how confusing and bad the signage is there.  And it is a dotted, not a solid lane line.  Got pulled over and given a ticket for an illegal lane change.
  
  Then I watched the officer go right back to the same spot he had been in to, I presume, keep taking advantage of a bad intersection and give bs tickets to other drivers.  Are you serious with me right now?  Really?  This is the best use of your time in one of the most crime-ridden cities in America.  Oh, okay.
  
  One of my tenants, who I'm also friendly with, is an attorney.  I asked him about it.  He told me to request a court date because, if the officer doesn't show up and they rarely do, the ticket will be totally dismissed.  So I'm crossing my fingers that is what will happen.  But it's still a major PITA driving r/t to a courthouse that is 30-45 minutes away (one way) from where I live and work.

  i signed up for group training at our park district M, W, and F starting next week. If I make all sessions (which i wont because of vacations) its only $6.15/session (50 minutes long) which is great.  I do good at my at home gym workouts - but I need some butt kicking.

  @missJeanLouise we have Nuby sippy and the 360 cup - so far the Nuby has had good work, and prob be ideal for transition so far. I will keep in mind the Nuk though

  I'm so ready for this weekend.  I've been working my butt off at work and I just really emotionally am feeling so much better.  I keep waiting for the shoe to drop, but so far it's been a good week.  My revelation seems to be working, even if some could see it as self-serving, but I don't even care.
