Did anyone watch?  I haven't read the book at all, and I only very vaguely remember the movie, but I'm completely intrigued and ready to watch this.  Regina King's character is fierce as hell and I already love watching her.  Borrowing the book from a friend b/c most of the recaps/reviews said that the book does help but be ready to let go of all concepts from the book.

    ME! ME! ME!  I loved it.  I do want to watch the first episode again. There was a lot going on. 

    But I'm SO happy to see Regina King in this role.  I've loved her since I saw her in Jerry Maguire giving Jerry the "show me the money" lecture.

    I also feel like Jeremy Irons just got a specific age and now he's going to look like that for forever.  :smiley:  But I have so many questions about his servants...a horseshoe?!?!  And is he scared of them?  Or plotting to murder them?  Seriously, like a...five minute scene and that's the one that left me utterly confused.
