I have a half day today b/c capitalism.  

We'll head over to my parents tonight to do Christmas with them, then brunch tomorrow with K's family.  My boss got me a coffee mug from Schitt's Creek that I LOVE LOVE LOVE and I was so stoked about.  

Other than that, no big plans.  Christmas feels small this year, but it also feels how I do too.  2019 has been a rough ride for me.

    I am working because non Christian country. 🤷 
    I am so excited for tomorrow though. We aren't doing anything big, it's just us here. I don't even have dinner planned or anything but just waking up, doing presents, and then spending the whole day with DH and DS. Thursday I think we are meeting some friends for lunch before I have to go to work again.

    Work is closed today. Daycare is open until 2 so picking him up around 1130 for lunch and nap. Just laying around watching dvr right now bc I’ve been awake since about 230 and I’m exhausted

    I'm working a half day today today. It's ridiculously slow, so that makes it even more annoying that we're open. 

    My family is coming over tonight at 5 to celebrate. My parents will stay over, and we'll have breakfast together before they head home. Then, no plans for the rest of the day which I love.

    I'm here. Our office is open until 2 today. I still have to run out and pick up a few online orders and some stocking stuff for H. 100% not feeling Christmas this year and wishing that H and I could lay low and avoid any family obligations.

    I'm here.  The office is open until noon, so I get to leave in an hour.  We had a fun breakfast here with the small group of my department that is here today.  I'm not even doing any work - just putting in my billable time!

    We have MIL and her BF tonight for dinner and my parents for dinner tomorrow night.  We will do church today too.  We will have to get there an hour early, so we can get a seat.  So keeping DD entertained in a church pew for 1 hour before she needs to stay quiet for another hour, will be fun!  Last year she was mesmerized by the children's choir - so hoping that is the case this year too.

    Today is my Friday too!

    I’m not at work but bored as hell.  Not doing anything tonight but I will probably be able to celebrate Christmas with H it looks like.  That’s pretty big!

    i was up at 4:30, dyed my hair, grabbed a coffee and went to Macy’s right when it opened at 7. Great for the two returns I did but the place was a TOTAL mess and it stopped me from shopping (was only going to shop for myself anyway since I’m done).  I couldn’t believe they closed the store that way!

    Guys... I don't have a good place to hang stockings. No fireplace or mantle. I have command hooks but no good wall to put them on. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you have a solution?

    Yup!  I just drape them on the couch, or sit them up on the couch when they are full

    I'm here.  Work today and tomorrow, but it should be quiet.  I sing in the church choir so I have church tonight and tomorrow morning (and New Year's Eve), so that will be a bit busy.
    Hubby being a teacher has two weeks "off", so we're actually able to spend some time together.  We've been walking the dog together and started The Witcher on Netflix.  I predict by Friday he will be back in school mode marking and getting lessons done, so I'll enjoy his lack of being busy until then.

    @CharmedPam, I hate to say it, but I can understand the Macy's attitude.  Even if they had fixed it up after a probably very long and busy day yesterday, it would be in the same shambles within the first 2-3 hours this morning.

    I'm at work.  Staying until 2PM, but "working" through lunch.  I am very busy.  Very busy, indeed!  Ummm, busy, finally going through my "main" personal Yahoo e-mail folder that I've neglected for most of this month, lol.

    I really need to get better about it.  I used to check it every 1-2 days.  It's one of "those" e-mail accounts.  Primarily e-mails I occasionally want, but aren't important.  Like where all my mystery shopping and "sign-up for our newsletter" e-mails go.  So 90% of it gets deleted when I'm scrolling through.

    At least it's my Friday!  5 day weekend coming up!  I bought some lox, cream cheese, and bagels to munch on for breakfast throughout the long weekend.  My H and I are bah-humbug, though.  There is nothing special we are doing today.  We don't give each other gifts.  My mom sends us a few presents.  That is all we will be opening tomorrow.  The only other special thing we are doing for Christmas is cooking up a glazed ham with some sides for dinner.  Maybe we'll stoke up a fire in our fire pit.  We haven't done that this year yet.

    The day after Christmas, I'll do some after-Christmas sale shopping.  Get a crockpot of apple cider going.  I might end up with errands to run here and there.  But, overall, it's going to be a pretty lax weekend.  Ooohhh!  Maybe catch up on some reading on our deck.  The weather looks nice through Sat. evening.

    I'm sure he'll forget by tomorrow anyway, lol.  Especially when new Paw Patrol toys are right in front of him!

    First thing he said Christmas morning was that he wanted Elsa but then he forgot about it when opening. Until I put him to bed and he said "I dont want my paw patrol presents I want Elsa presents". I ljust laughed and said Santa already came so he's out of luck
