Hotel: Wedding Nights NYC

Hi All,

I've been looking for months for the perfect accommodation for the night before and the night of our wedding.

We're travelling from Australia to get married in NYC and we'll have about 40 guests attending.

We're happy to book something cheaper the other dates we're in NYC, but or the night before, Id like my bridesmaids to stay over. We'll then have all manner of people coming through the next day for Hair, Make up, Photography etc.

For the night of the wedding, I'd just like to do something a little 'more than usual'.

I've been looking at The Nomad Hotel on Broadway and The New York Edition.

Our Ceremony is at Madison Square Park and the reception is at Harding's on E21st St so wanting to keep it relatively walking distance.

My requirements are below if that helps:

Okay to spend around $600 per night.

Want lots of natural light

Spacious

Comfortable

Separate Living Area

Does anyone have any other recommendations.

TIA

When is your wedding? Depending on the time of year it might be easier/harder to find something with all those requirements in your price range. I used to live in New York and travel back a few times a year and typically for a Friday/Saturday night in a 3.5+ star rated I’m hotel I’m paying $200+ per night for a queen/king.

There also isn’t a ton of hotels right near the park but if you’re okay with a 5-10 walk I’d also check out Royalton Park Hotel, the Lex, the Granmercy Park hotel in addition to the NoMad and the NY Edition. They’re all 4+ stars. I might even call to see if they have suites/what suite options they have.
