Happy almost long weekend! 
I’m in the office till noon and then wfh, I have a cleaner coming to get my place all purdy for my parents.  I set one up through this company for 1x a month.  So hopefully I like her! I feel like she’ll have an easy job.  My place isn’t THAT bad I just hate cleaning.
And my friend called me yesterday. I have to stop picking up her calls because she never calls to call.  She always wants me to do something for her. This is the one that insisted my ex was cheating on me, despite ever meeting him and/or knowing our relationship dynamic.  So I’m still kinda pissed at her and questioning our frienship to begin with.  Friends don’t put that in your head. They’re supposed to take those thoughts out! Unless, of course, they have proof.  Then give it to me.
Other than that, happy for a low key long weekend with my parents. What are you all up to?
Oh and my friend sent this and it’s totes me! Getting things done and looking for a bargain.  Lmao.

    Should be a good weekend.
    Picking up paint tonight for the toy box next week.
    M is gonna sand it this weekend - idk when. We gotta check weather and where it currently is - that way if it rains, he can potentially keep it there or something.

    Tomorrow is my bday dinner thing. My granny isn't going - she has shingles now. She's not contagious but she's uncomfortable. I promised her a plate, so I'll swing by after.

    Idk when he's doing it but M has to do the yard, change a toilet seat and sand the toy box. That way on Tuesday - after my pedi and lunch with my mum - I can paint it :) Or at least get a solid start.
    I may buy contact paper and do the inside instead of painting it ... idk.

    My bday is Tuesday :) 34!
    Otherwise no real plans. I'm making waffles this weekend and that's about it lol

    My day started out salty and it's not getting any better. I think I need to just go back to bed and try again later.

    Work is irritating me because this guy keeps trying to put his work on me and throw me under the bus when he doesn't do it. Of course my director knows what's up and has already given him the smack down once, but he's at it again.

    I'm also already annoyed about the reno project. They started last week and made some progress, but it's been kind of sideways since then. I know construction sucks and there are always delays, but I feel like this 6 week project is going to be 12. I don't want to Karen, but this is getting to be ridiculous.

    Super long weekend for me- in addition to Labor Day, schools over here give off for major religious holidays, and Rosh Hashanah is next Tues-Wed.  We just started and I have the energy, but I guess I'll take it.  Have a bit of family time penciled in on Sunday, not sure what else.

    Yes!!  That, plus I used my final ones this morning for the kids' breakfast and have to re-stock the freezer.  Totally back in make ahead breakfast mode, god forbid they have cold cereal two days in a row  :D

    Hooray, long weekend!  I've decided to paint my bathroom downstairs, and I'll finish my patio this weekend too.  And then Monday we are looking at a property that people we know are looking to buy.  I'm excited to get ahead of things.  Hubby's birthday is next weekend, so I'm trying to make the house and outside look nice for when his family comes over.  It's stupid to put in so much effort, but we've lived in this house for 7 years, and they have only come over a handful of times (they live 15 mins away), so I feel like making a big deal of this because I know Hubby will be so happy they are actually coming to visit him.
