    Only thing in my saved list on sale, so honestly I wasn't too upset.
    I really need to reign in my spending. It's been a lot recently and it's dipping more into savings than I expected.
    It's fine. Also with the Old Navy purchase yesterday, I've got more stuff stashed for BK next year than anticipated

    @MyNameIsNot I’m happy to hear the surgery went well. Good vibes everything continues to come back benign. 

    Waiting for some pre-employment screening stuff. This morning was peaceful until I got to the lab and forgot my ID in the car, and because no one knows how to check in on the tablets I almost was late checking in. The tablets must drive the staff here crazy. 

    Otherwise I was able to wake up and get half of a workout done. I’ll finish the other half tonight at the gym. And SSDD

    Work has been weird since about last Thursday.  All kinds of people have just been coming out of the woodwork asking me for a variety of unusual things.

    Like, reports I haven't run for years.

    Two different people asked for the link to where I keep the POs for a particular project.  I'm rarely asked this so, for two people within a couple days of each other to ask, it's unusual.  One of them is a coworker I don't like.  She is really friendly with everybody else, but cold to me.  It's obvious she doesn't like me, but I have no idea why.  I haven't had to work with her at all for a few years, so I hope that isn't changing, lol.

    They are also going to be moving me.  Again.  This will be the 7th time in the 9 1/2 years I've worked here, smh.  I'm especially disappointed about it, because this is my favorite place I've been.

    But they keep shuffling around the seating chart, so I have no idea where I'm moving to yet.

    It seems like there are two probable areas.  One of them is MUCH better than the other, so I keep praying, praying, praying that it will be that spot.  But it's not looking good.

    For months I was told I'd be in the preferred area.  It wasn't until Thursday, that this changed.

    Glad to hear everything is ok @MyNameIsNot.  Can you wfh? Maybe get some of those days back or do you have a job that requires you to physically be there.
    i’m in the same boat @MissKittyDanger, I didn’t spend much on prime days because I really shouldn’t.  The one deal I was excited about (quest bars) are now saying undeliverable? So weird, never had that problem before.

    my face is still a tinge red and heated but gets better every day.  I never want to go through that again!  Speaking of prime I guess I really should invest in a nest or new wifi digital thermostat.  I like mine, it’s controlled through my phone - but the schedule part of it never works and I don’t think it ever did? I woke up and it was SO hot in my room.  72 at night hits differently than 72 in the morning.  I couldn’t even finish my workout, it was so damn stuffy in the house.

    Any ideas? Kinda wanna avoid honeywell since that’s what I have and I’m not to fond of the scheduler.

    My BFF is on his way and I'm basically trying to work to pass the time faster.  I'm not doing well.  I'm also in a MOOD after yesterday's meltdown and I think my vibes are definitely "don't talk to me" today.  

    I visited my parents for 2 hours last night and it was so lovely.  Then, I get home and my damn neighbor has just tested positive for covid!!  It's not his fault, but we're around each other quite a bit and ugh!!!  I'm keeping all crossables crossed that I'm fine.  I feel fine, I'll take a test on Friday and see what's up, but dammit, Dammit, DAMMIT.  And I had been so careful around my parents too!  We're all vaccinated and boosted, so this is just doubly annoying.  BFF does know and we are just taking precautions.

    I’m still sick, yet again from some daycare plague. Three negative Covid tears but my lungs hurt and I’m exhausted. 

    And one of my close friend’s father died yesterday and services are Friday. There’s no way I can get out there for them (she’s in OH, H is out of town) and it sucks. I’d love to be there for her but can’t make it work.

    I'm dealing with a similar situation and I want to hide. I can't take so much negativity today.

    I've been going too crazy on Amazon.  Darn you, Prime Day, lol.

    But seriously.  I view it as a good thing.  I'm getting discounts on things I've been planning to buy anyway.

    Every year, I also use Prime Day deals as a way to "sample" food and beverages that sound interesting to me or stock up on items I know I like.  I've made some great discoveries by doing this.  But, even for the "losers", at least I got to try some new things and didn't waste money on the full price.

    I also just discovered a treasure trove for food.  For some reason, it doesn't come up in the grocery category at all when I did a general search, but I stumbled across it when I was looking at past orders.

    Awhile ago, I had bought a bulk bag of cashews.  I'm getting low and figured, no time like the present.  It's from a brand called Happy Belly.

    I didn't realize when I originally bought those cashews, but Happy Belly is an Amazon brand.  I saw the cashews were a prime day deal and bought another bag.  But, in that search, ALL the Happy Belly items showed up and all of them have prime day deals.

    For example, a one lb. bag of trail mix for $5.48!  A bottle of ranch and Caesar dressing for $1.27/each.

    These are most of the Happy Belly products:  nuts. trail mix, salad dressings, spices, sauce mixes.

    If you need anything in those categories, get in on it!  The reviews were also very high for everything I looked at.
