Small change at work (not better, not worse, just different) has left me with rarely more than a minute to hop onto TK, so I've been in lurk mode this last week.  I'm glad to have seen so many nice Thanksgiving weekends were had. Sending vibes and comfort

DD began feeling better last Tuesday evening - kept her home Wednesday to be safe even though she'd taken two negative at-home Covid tests.  Brought her to the pediatrician where she tested negative for Covid again, as well as negatives for RSV, flu, strep...but positive for adenovirus.  She's had it before but years ago as a toddler.  Then sister and her whole family got pink eye on Tuesday, then other sister's kids all had sore throats.  We returned to our 2020 Thanksgiving - we gathered masked in my parents' backyard for a brief hello.  But it was nice.
Weekend was relaxing, full of much-needed downtime and a bit of decorating for Christmas.  Agree on the underwhelming Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals.  20% off here, 30% there...and I feel like the bigger deals are for bigger ticket items.  I never need a new tv.  Can I get 50% off my physical shopping cart at the grocery store or gas station or a month of one of my kids' activities? Lol..
