How's everyone?  Healing vibes @levioosa and to M @charlotte989875

Had a whirlwind day at work yesterday but today should be calmer.  It's my Friday, I took a personal day tomorrow bc I'm hosting back to back parties this weekend.  Saturday the twins receive their First Holy Communion, Sunday is a smaller party for oldest's birthday (which isn't until next weekend but figured if the rented tent was still up it'd be a good time, my yard is deep and holds a crowd but my house fits like 7 people, so wanted to get double use out of the tent in case of rain).  Although I've been chipping away at getting the house company-ready the last few weekends I need a day to spot clean and do all my cooking and non-cooking food prep.  Busy but good busy.  How's everyone else?

    @ei34, enjoy the personal day!  Even if it would be more fun as a mani/pedi day, than a cooking and cleaning day, lol.  How is your sister doing?  Is your BIL still in rehab?

    I'm wondering if everyone in my neighborhood took today off for local's day at Jazz Fest.  There was hardly anybody on the road this morning.  It was awesome!  I kept wondering if I'd accidentally left an hour early or if it was a holiday I was not aware of.  I'm not sure which one of those is the fatter chance, lol.

    I am either WFH or taking a vacation day tomorrow.  I need to ask my boss again if WFH is okay.  I was looking back at that Teams message from last week.  Ugh, it was my bad phrasing.  I had originally asked him, in person, about both Fridays.  But, when he didn't get back to me, my Teams message was asking about just last Friday.

    Should be a slow but good day at work, so I'm looking forward to Prudie.

    I don't want to jinx myself, but I've been in really high spirits!  WFH last week.  Being at home tomorrow.  Then next Friday we're flying to Tahoe for a 5-day vacation.  This is how life should be, lol.

    It has been raining since Friday and ughhh I'm so tired of it. It supposed to be nice this weekend though, so I'm hanging on for that. 

    We're having our cinco de mayo party today since some people are out tomorrow. I'm happy for free lunch!

    M is looking much better today! Work is busy. I fee like that’s just my constant state these days. It’s also been raining and our yard is a mud puddle so I’m blah. So ready for the weekend! My mom and I are seeing Yo-Yo Mah play Sunday afternoon!

    Raining here too. I am sleepy this morning. It’s going to be a busy day at work. The rain is making it hard to get up and going though.

    It's my Friday as well.  We're road-tripping tomorrow with our friends to surprise another friend for his bday.  

    The last couple of days have been ridiculously busy at work. Also, DH and I ran out on lunch yesterday and went suit shopping because he has a 'media day' next Friday for work.  He found suit separates that work and we're lucky we found a tailor by the skin of our teeth (since it's prom/wedding season) to get the jacket done by next week.  We should have been on this a couple of weeks ago. Oh well. 

    My car will hopefully be in next week. I'm so freaking excited. 

    Prudie coming up soon. 

    Oh and May the Fourth be with you.  :)

    BK is going to my mum's this weekend. It's suppose to be beautiful and my mum has a little planter box for her to do some seeds.

    M & I have some stuff around the house to do. After like 2 weeks of both of us being sick, we're doing some cleaning and getting caught up on chores.
    I think we may swing by ikea as we're prepping for our closet reno soon and they have a task rabbit option - we've never done it so I wanna ask questions. Plus they have the pillows I like and I definitely need a new one!

    I suggested to M we swing by the mall as it has a nespresso store and I'd like to see some other flavours.

    Who has a nespresso machine?
    What's your fave flavours? Personally I like vanillas or caramels - but I roast wise I like medium or blonde.

    fingers crossed for a wfh Friday @short+sassy, it’s 2023 so I don’t know why they’re giving you such a hard time!

    yesterday I had 2 pairs of Von D flats in my cart. I can only find 10% off and that covers the damn tax only.  And I think it’s $400+ for free shipping so I have to pay for that too.  But SO cute.  Talk me out of them.

    @mrsconn23 I love my Subaru Crosstrek which is almost the same as the Outback except for a few options and something like 9 square feet in the back.  I totally get it.  I'd cry if something happened to Sassy.

    Boss came in and looked at my office, which is a disaster b/c of merging the other files in and 13 boxes that came in on another case.  I think now he's feeling guilty and coming in and taking work off my plate.  Which is fine, but he works hard too (another reason why I'm willing to do this) and my work will all get finished, just maybe tomorrow instead of today.

    I had a co-worker come in and I said something about my office being a disaster and she just said, "I know it'll all get organized again."  I went to her office a bit later and told her thank you, that I'd been having problems with some of the negativity in the office and I just really appreciated her being supportive and positive.

    My period finally started.  I think between it suddenly deciding not to be 22 days apart anymore (thankful) and short February, it just got really off on the dates?  IDK, but the brain fog has lifted and I feel so much better.  I've got to figure out something to combat this, my supplement seems to definitely be having diminishing returns on those symptoms.
