IDK if I slept too hard or what, but I am dragging this morning.  Woke up with a headache, which usually goes hand in hand with sleeping hard because I don't wake up for a few drinks of water.

Weekend was good.  Seeing Birdcage on the big screen again was fantastic and the audience was perfect.  I was supposed to see Spiderman yesterday, but realized it was Father's Day.  Checked the theatre and it was sold out.  So, I canceled and put the ticket for today.  I just can't do that many kids/families at a movie.  Also have tickets for Asteroid City this week and I'm excited about that one.  I'm a fair weather Wes Anderson fan, but the ones I like, I really like and this one looks fantastic.

Otherwise, SSDD.  I somewhat freaked out at my to-do list at work, realizing I have a week vacation coming up in less than a month, so I've got to put my nose to the grind.

    Weekend here was good if really busy. I think I managed to spend all of 3 hours awake at home between Saturday and Sunday. Thank goodness today is WFH without a ton of meetings and I can at least get some laundry and things done. I'm still fighting a cold or the after effects of 7000 vaccines last week, so I'm skipping yoga to go to bed early tonight. 

    We just decided to take some vacation days after the 4th to go visit SIL at the beach. I'm so excited for a mini-break!

    I'm wondering if my eye cream is causing this, but I've woken up yesterday and today with puffy under eyes.
    No irritation or anything, just super puffed.

    I'm going to stop using it for a few days and see if any changes. Might be time for a new eye cream.

    Weekend was good.
    Saturday BK had her last gymnastics and she saw her friend A - which we've been trying to make a play date with but it's been crazy lol but BK & A got some fun time afterwards and I got a cute shot of the 2 of them <3 Obv being 5 they had to hold hands a lot and hug

    We knew we were doing movie night, so we told BK she had to have some quiet time for a bit. Idk if she slept or if quiet time was just really helpful for her but she stayed up later to finish the movie {Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2}

    Sunday M went fishing and my mum came over. We did groceries and it was so weird, BK usually wanders off with my mum but she didn't get far and my mum had to come back because BK wanted to be with me :( 

    Weather was unsure so we just hung out at my place. We took BK to the park and she got to show my mum how she could ride her bike.

    I stopped by my granny's briefly and drove my mum home.

    We'd picked up a steak for M for fathers day {his gift plus a park pass so he can park for free when fishing - and we can park for free for the beach too}
    I made salad and roast potatoes with parm while M bbq'd his steak and hot dogs for BK and I

    Already trying to figure out stuff for house stuff while also figuring out timing.
    My desk may not be in by the time I need it, so that worries me.

    We did mini golf on Saturday and then lunch and ice cream. The boys did great and did not intentionally use the golf clubs as weapons - so a win for us for sure. Yesterday was a chill morning, swim lessons, and then the boys fell asleep in the car so H and I went through a drive through and had a nice little quiet driving date :) stopped at the park on the way home then just hung out all afternoon. I was on kid duty so H could do some stuff at home that he's been wanting to get to. We had a nice weekend overall!

    Weekend was good. DS2 came home Friday night. H made pizza in the pizza oven. Saturday we went to one of our favorite Italian restaurants. We all went to see Spiderman yesterday - it was crowded at all @VarunaTT! We all enjoyed it a lot. DS2 went home shortly after we returned from the movie.

    I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning bathrooms. Today I'm vacuuming and dusting the whole house - my friends are arriving Wednesday for our girls' weekend in Michigan. I hadn't really cleaned since the twins went home. I will still need to do the kitchen tomorrow. I also made it to spin class this morning. I didn't go all last week because my shoulder was acting up. It seems to be better now even though vacuuming makes twinge a bit. 

    I need to pack for the weekend too. It is going to be cooler than I anticipated so I have to rethink clothing.

    @MissKittyDanger could puffy eyes be allergies? Or is it a new cream?
    how did G do with going into the water, @Casadena?

    eta because it hit sent too soon.  Anyway, we’re all wondering why we’re in the office for Juneteeth when a lot of offices are off today? Hopefully that changes next year. At any rate, I came in and can’t work anyway because our systems are down.

    weekend was good.  Got some retail therapy in.  Marahalls.  I forgot how great that place was.  I picked up a nice dkny purse for $40 that had a retail tag of $196.  A blob of glue on it - but googone took care of it.  It’s a TAD small for me, but I love how light it is, and I know I need to carry less anyway.

    @CharmedPam I assumed allergies yesterday but they're not irritated, itchy, etc.
    It's not a new eye cream, but it's Lush so it tends to have a shorter expiry.

    @CharmedPam they did better this week! Were fine for the first 5 minutes, then both got upset when we walked into slightly deeper water - cried for 15 minutes, then were both giggling and kicking the last 10. So overall a much better experience than last week!
