Unique Invitation Address/Dark Envelope Idea/ D.I.Y. Wrap Labels
Hi Girls!
This is my first post on here and I wanted to share what I did for my envelopes since I LOVE how they came out and got so many compliments on them.
I purchsed silver metallic full page labels & printed regular pages at home from microsoft word (utilizating a mail merge). Then I brought the white "templates" to a kinkos and printed the labels for 13 cents a page (3 labels per page). I went elsewhere to print them b/c the labels I bought weren't compatable with home ink jet printers. Once printed, I cut them at kinkos (they offer edgers that cut a clean straight line so I didn't have the hand cut each label whew!) and then embossed the top and bottom with an embosser (slightly time consuming but worth the end product).
Attached are pictures of my final product. I thought it was a beautiful idea for dark envelopes and do-it-yourself brides who don't want to pay for calligraphy (like me!).
I still have the embossers (I used two different patterns) & 63 sheets of labels that I'd like to sell if anyone is interested. The labels were purchased at worldlabel.com and they only come in bulk (100 sheet minimum). Embossers were purchased at Joann's Etc.
I also used the embosser to do my champagne bottle favors for our guests. I love how they came out! (see below).
