Kind of SSDD here, work counseling nothing new but not complaining.

    Still fighting this cold so WFH today - hopefully with at least one short nap. G had a rough morning, i think it was a night terror around 6am that took him a long time to snap out of. He was still exhausted when we left for school 15 late. But no fever and no sickness/nothing hurt so fingers crossed it was just a fluke thing.

    I made chicken noodle soup last night and am very excited to eat it all week for lunch. Trying to get holiday cards out in the next couple days too so working on those at down times today.

    I"m feeling like death, but it's my own fault.  I splurged and had 2 glasses of wine with dinner last night.  My body is busy reminding me that alcohol, no matter how lovely the pairing is, is poison.

    My boss is making me mad.  I get that he's in charge, my job is to do things how he wants.  I also like to be efficient with my work.  I have a report that I can automatically generate into an excel spreadsheet.  Yes, it's different from the chart that was created in 1985, but all of the info is the exact same, just in a different order and I don't have to type it all out.  It's exhausting and I don't want to spend time typing out a damn chart that can be automatically created.  Like, the reason this job requires so much damn work is b/c half of it is pure busy work at this point, that could be done more efficiently b/c it's 2023.

    So basically, SSDD.  :D

    I finished addressing and stuffing most of the cards.  There are a few not done that I saved for the "let's see if I can get cards to these people" list.  The plan is to get them out on Friday.  We always note the kids' ages and Chiquita turns 13 Sunday so I want the cards to show up on or just after her birthday so it isn't a lie. :smile:

    I'll be glad when her birthday is over and I feel like we did a good job to celebrate it.  Then we can focus on Christmas and not getting sick.

    Ugh that’s so annoying @VarunaTT. Is there a way you can auto organize the spreadsheet with a formula to the order he wants it? 

    SSDD for me. Gotta slog through the next two days and then I took Thursday and Friday to help with family stuff.

    SSDD for me too. Worked out this morning but still have some PT exercises to do. I'm sore from doing them yesterday. We have an appointment this afternoon that is near the Market District store in town so may be stopping there on the way home.

    You guys just reminded me that I have a card making event tomorrow.  I moved my hair appt to next week to do this. And I really could use that hair appointment lol!

    very annoying @VarunaTT.  You have to train your boss to like the way the system spits this out.  Lol. No need to do busy work.

    @charlotte989875 I must be in the same storm as you!  But slightly less - I think we got half a foot tops.  My dog loves it.  My rabbits have refused to leave their heated pen, and I think the chickens also refuse to leave their heated pen.  I think I have to break out the heated water bowl soon too - there was a thin film of ice on it this morning.
    Even though I am Canadian, I am playing catch-up from American thanksgiving at work as all the Americans were out.  It's been a fun start to the week.  
    I sent out all the cards on my side of the family last night.  I'm sort of leaving the ILs to hubby.  I bought the cards, I have the stamps, he just needs to get addresses.  If they don't get sent, they don't get sent.

    I totally agree with your rabbits!  I don't want to leave my heated pen house when it is cold outside either.

    @charlotte989875, I'm glad you tested negative.  M is so cute!  I'm glad he is liking the snow.  But I'm also laughing that the two little kids past him are knee deep in snow!  They're adorable also.
