House Sitting Question

What do you guys consider fair payment for someone house sitting (not a stranger or a house sitting service). It would involve feeding the cats and doing their litter boxes and watering plants but not much else. I’ve never had to pay anyone before because our trips have been short enough or my mom has come over every couple of days but our upcoming trip is pretty long.

    When we did the Outer Banks for a week two years ago we had my cousin stay. I think we did $250 cash plus a few $50-$100 food gift cards. And stocked the fridge. We didn’t want her to have to use the money we were paying her for food too.

    Well, it depends on your schedule like I paid $100 for 3 days along with 2 vouchers of $50.

    We are paying $225 for house sitter/cat sitter for Memorial Day weekend through Rover.  There is a premium because it's a holiday weekend.

    For a second I misread this and I thought, "do I live under a rock? What holiday is "Rover? How many weeks is that?"
