    SSDD at work. H has class on Tuesday nights so the boys and I are on our own - they've been asking to paint, so we'll probably do that after dinner!

    The paint color I thought i loved is going to be too light compared to our trim. We have "white" trim that's really a soft beige. Looks white on the wall, but i'm finding it hard to pick a color that doesn't look brown or yellow compared to the trim The cards i'm trying to match from look totally different on the wall. And i'm not replacing all the trim (it's been painted too many times to make another paint coat look nice)

    I think my mom is going to come visit for awhile and will help us paint and do a few things around the house -i think she's looking to keep busy since she no longer has to spend so much time thinking about and visiting with my grandma.

    Weekend was okay. I was absolutely exhausted. Like stay in bed until 2 pm on Saturday exhausted because I simply could not move or stay awake. Luckily we didn't have to actually go anywhere this weekend. But I did have to run a million errands yesterday. Otherwise SSDD. 13 work days until our trip, which sounds close but is still so far away.

    Busy here too. J is sick again so more doctors visits and I’ve caught whatever he and M have so I’m working but not feeling great. 

    A bit of a healthcare rant; our pediatrician is excellent. Like get him in with the provider we want anytime we’ve needed it excellent. His pulmonologist is less so. They have a “sick kid” line that basically no one answers and you need to leave a message. Last time I called back the next day because no one has returned my call. Yesterday I did leave a message, someone did return and said a nurse or doctor would follow up. And almost a day later no one has. I get they’re busy but I have a sick infant and they insisted we call them when he is sick so they can figure out why. That’s hard when no one follows up.

    My parents left about an hour ago, I’m going to take a quick break and then start moving my room back.  Ack! I have a closet now that you can SEE all articles of clothing on now.

    Good afternoon.  Busy, busy.  I have an in-office and then team-building event (bowling) tomorrow.  

    BIL and SIL got outbid on a house...again.  Ugh.  It's a tough market since they're looking for property, but aren't trying to be an hour+ away from us/the city.  

    DefConn and oldest niece have been in OH with BIL/SIL/nephews the last couple of nights.   It's been so quiet to the point it's weird.  LOL   They come back tomorrow and youngest niece finally gets here (she stayed for additional time with friends).  

    SSDD otherwise.  Just lots of family.  All of the time.  ;)

    Congratulations to Chiquita! That is quite the accomplishment. 

    H is doing better this afternoon. This morning he woke up in quite a bit of pain after his procedure yesterday. He called the surgeon's office. They told he it wasn't unusual and that he should alternate taking Tylenol and Advil. Since he has been doing that the pain is much better. It would have been nice had they told him that at discharge yesterday! I stayed home with him this morning but worked out with my trainer via FaceTime. I also had a haircut and color this afternoon. Thankfully he was doing much better by then. He even went to his haircut appointment which had been rescheduled twice already. I was getting ready to cut it myself lol!

    I'm going over to see a friend in a little bit. I brought her a small gift from Portugal. We usually get each other small things when we travel. Her DIL is expecting a baby any day now (4th grand child). She has been late with the other 2 and is only a few days late now. I was kind of thinking she might be at the birthing center when I texted but no luck. My friends' other three grandchildren are boys so I'm really hoping this one is a girl! She had two boys herself so a girl would be nice.

    @banana468, sorry to hear about Chiquito's game.  Congrats to Chiquita!

    @mrsconn23, my work has a Spring Fling bowling event a couple Saturdays from now, lol.

    @ILoveBeachMusic, I'm glad your H is feeling better.  Especially after being in pain this morning.

    SSDD.  Work has been a bit stressful.  I will just get done with urgent items.  Plan to start on back-burner stuff the next day.  And then urgent stuff gets dumped on me again.

    My only excitement for the days is I tried Wendy's new saucy nuggets, lol.  A bit too skimpy on the sauce.  Especially for something called saucy nugs.  They were okay.  I don't think I'll get them again, unless they are a special in the app.  The Buffalo sauce tasted like a classic Buffalo sauce.  Spicier than mild, but not by too much.  The garlic-parmesan had too much of an oily texture and not enough garlic-parm flavor.  They have a whole bunch of other flavors also, like BBQ and Honey Mustard along with spicier versions of the same.

    I think some of my problem is, when it's chicken chunks coated in sauce, I'd rather they were grilled instead of battered.  To me, the breading adds calories/carbs while subtracting from the overall flavor.  But I had to try it!

    LOL no! She has 5 grandchildren counting Megan's little boy 3 of which are girls. I am going to hear her Dad's band on Friday night though.
