    Oh, also I’ll be a virtual host the next two days for all that jewelry I got addicted to from Touchstone! They’re running a flash sale too. I have so many items in my wishlist!

    I bought some ice bracelets before I left (also on sale), but two looked really similar to each other so I asked how easy the exchange was and it was super easy to get another color I wanted.  I was going to layer three but my wrists are kinda wide and they are heavy.  Two are perfect!

    My cold is fully back. I thought it was better again last night and then the stress of FIL’s dinner made it come back. I was going to strangle SIL B. She is so fucking infuriating. I would give anything to have a normal supportive mature adult family. Or even just people who are willing to pay their part of a bill when they can clearly afford it. 

    Otherwise, today is full of cleaning and I have a nail appointment. we leave tomorrow and it feels like there’s and impossible number of things to do. At least I’m all packed so it’s just the small last minute stuff to bring. I keep debating what time to arrive at the airport. When we fly out of LAX for sure, the three hour rule is golden, but our smaller airport? Most of the time you could probably get there 45 minutes early and be fine but I also don’t want to risk that with an international trip.

    Boooo @levioosa, if it makes you feel any better your chances of getting sick on the ship are pretty good! I’m sure everyone fills out that health survey with “I’m fine!”.

    Oh foam parties.  I went to a few in my time.  LOL They were not at a kid's school though.  The foam did make me breakout in hives though.  

    @levioosa, ugh.  She sucks. 

    I'm highly annoyed today because a bunch of small scale, but extremely inconvenient things popped up.  I also hate having to tell someone more than once to do.their.damn.job. 

    Other than that, SSDD for the most part.  It's my 'Thursday' since I'm off Friday.  :)

    A Big Deal Guy just quit our company this morning. Like- told our CEO yesterday, announced to the company today and the moves of his directs were effective immediately. This guy was like 4th in line in our leadership so that’s basically all everyone has talked about all day. We’ll probably see ripple effects for a while.

    Not much going on. Still trying to fight the slight cold I feel coming on. Just lazing around after working out this morning. I did get a little laundry done. H is fixing chorizo enchiladas for dinner tonight - yum! It is a blue apron recipe we got months ago. His MO is to reverse engineer the recipes that we like so we know what/quanties of the ingredients are so we can fix them without buying them from Blue Apron. We have done that with a lot of their recipes.

    We are going to visit DS1 and DIL this weekend. So tomorrow I will be pulling stuff together for that. I have a Board social for my Y tomorrow evening. We are leaving Friday late morning.

    @levioosa, oh no!  I hope your cold leaves quickly and you start feeling better.  Have fun on your trip!  For the airport, I would say split the difference and go two hours early.

    Ugh, I have turned into my mom, lol.  I always thought she was ridiculous for getting to the airport 2 hours early.  But she was right.  There is so much that can go wrong.  It's better to sit around at the terminal for 1+ hours than sweat bullets because there was a worse than usual traffic jam or TSA took forever.

    @charlotte989875, that's crazy work news!  I feel like big shot people usually plan their exit for months ahead of time.  But maybe that is more for retirement.  I hope it isn't too disruptive for you all, in the interim.  

    It has unfortunately been a bad day for me.  Just a lot of stress at work.  I've had a side task I've been doing at work for months.  But misunderstood a key aspect of it and it's going to take me umpteen hours to fix it.  Except I'm already overloaded for the normal work I have!

    It's also frustrating because I have found this part of it confusing and it didn't make sense to me.  But whenever I asked questions about it or explained how I do it, no one corrected me.  Maybe I didn't explain it well enough (sigh).
