Of our entire guest list, 17 are children. Most of them are in the 3-10 age range and know each other. There is one 14 year old boy and one 15 year old boy. They have never met. I'm wondering, would it be appropriate to give these boys a plus one? Just a friend to bring along, make the kids feel less awkward. When I went to weddings at that age I could've died of boredom. I never socialized with the other kids, I just sat at the table all night being emo. My fiance thinks they'll magically bond and hang out, but he didn't go to a wedding until he was of legal drinking age so it's not like he's speaking from experience.
Two more people are fine in our budget, we are under venue capacity. I don't have kids though, is there a glaring problem for their parents that I'm not considering? Is it just a stupid idea altogether?
Thanks
