I just got off the phone from a surprise phone interview. I applied for a job a week ago and had no idea they'd be calling today. I'm on pain killers, you know, the ones that make you go 'WEEEEEE', and I have absolutely NO idea how that just went.
I appologized for rambling and explained that I had just had surgery recently and was on the meds. She chuckled and said 'it's ok, don't worry about it'. I'll hear back later today on whether I get a second interview or not.
Also, in the background, you could hear our dishwasher going, my mircowave dinging at me and both dogs 'talking' at the very beginning of the conversation.*Face Palm
I totally thought the phone call was for something else, which is the only reason I answered to begin with.
I have no idea what to think right now. Happy vibes would be much appreciated and you dont mind sharing

Re: Can I ask for Knot Vibes?
I figured if she says 'no' when she calls back tonight, I can thank her for calling and request her to keep me in mind if another position becomes available.
[QUOTE]ooh good luck! I'm sure they won't hold the noise against you, especially since they know you had no warning. Question: Does NCSU stand for your college? I was reading a brochure at work, saw it spelled out, and thought of you immediately.

Lmao! You ladies are awesome! :)
Right now I'm a SAHW that exercises a local farmers horses, makes wreaths, baked goods and keeps our house from imploding on itself on a daily basis :o)
I've already got one interview tomorrow at a local bakery. It was kind of a 'on the whim' thing because we're not sure if we'll be here for a long time and the bakery would be a PT position and it's a 5 min commute.
With that said, it doesn't look like we're moving anytime soon, so I applied for this position (the one I got called for) because it'd be a good starting point for a future career and it pays pretty good IMO for a starter job. It's a 45 min commute, but it's also FT w/Benefits.
As far as what I'd like to do. . I'd LOVE to be involved with a rehab camp for youth (either serious illness or troubled youth).
I should be hearing back in the next few hours. We'll see how things go :o)
And thanks Lucy! I try to stay on the ball and on my feet as much as possible. These past couple days have been an exception though so she totally didn't catch me on the best of days lmao.
Guess who has the interview!! P.s. It's on my birthday too! That's good right?
Cookies and Whoopies for all the lovely ladies!
