HELP high ceiling/ugly wall

Hey! I'm desperate for ideas on how to make this dining reception space come together. Initially I thought draping but I realize the ceiling is naturally gorgeous and I am happy to use string lights. The issue I'm having is if we put draping on the wall with the fireplace, it will look out of place - the draping would go halfway up the wall as the ceilings are so high.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to include some additional draping around the rest of the space to tie it together or should I completely axe the draping idea and find another way to improve the fireplace wall.

I would prefer our sweetheart table to be against the windows and not in front of the fireplace.

I'm open to pretty much anything! Please see photos of the venue and inspo below.

  • IMO - skip the draping as it'd end up drawing more attention to it and cost/benefit is going to be far more expensive.  Less is more in a venue like that!  If anything, do a nice mantle garland instead maybe with some fairy lights worked in to the piece if you will be there after dark.  Linens on the tables, maybe chair covers, and you're beyond golden.
