Good morning, WW!!

I'm trying to amp myself up for today, as you can see.  I'm just tired; I didn't sleep very well.  For some reason I was up to go to the restroom multiples times.  I'm looking forward to my doctor's appointment about this arm, it's aching already and I just want some relief.

Weekend was good.  I watched a lot of the Star Trek movies.  I went to Michael's yesterday with a friend, just to get out of the house.  We walked every single aisle and chatted.  I bought a new build that is a bouquet of flowers, that I'll do for Mother's Day.  Bought some yarn and a new hook, along with a book of crotchet projects that only use 1 skein of yarn, that I think will help in this learning process.  Some other odds and ends.  I made it out for right at $100, so I didn't do too badly.

    @VarunaTT great to start on the 1 skein crochet!  Chiquita loves whipping up a hat pretty fast and I ordered her a bag of pom poms so she can add them. 

    Weekend was decent!  Kids had events at the same time on Saturday.  Chiquita had a fencing meet and her GS leader came to watch as well since it was in her town.  Kiddo won 2 of 5 and had some technical issues in one of them.  In all she felt like she held her own and she got some good pointers. 

    Chiquito had his Pinewood Derby Saturday.  While his car was not a looker and both DH and I talked to him about that (dude - painting the car while watching YouTube on your phone?? ), he won his den and came in 3rd in the pack. 

    I spent the afternoon cleaning stuff and getting laundry done.  I hadn't washed my tablecloths from Christmas and two are Irish linen.  My mom's advice has always been to iron them wet because they hold a crease that way so I put it off until I had the time.  It just takes SO LONG to get them both done so I advocated for myself when I told DH "I do not want to be in charge of dinner tonight".  So he stepped up and cooked and for that I am grateful.    Those fencing mornings are early like work so I crashed by 10ish. 

    Sunday was church followed by sheet cleaning on all the beds.  Tonight we have a fundraiser dinner for the team so I don't need to cook!

    Weekend was good. No luck in the house hunting arena for DS2. He is putting an offer in on the one that said they are accepting back up offers. We told him not to hold his breath. It was a nice house. Nothing new has come on the market since Saturday - I look and have an alert on the app.

    I decided to go ahead and pay for the Y. It will only be for 15 months (hopefully the current administration doesn't eliminate it for Medicare supplement). Seriously, if it weren't for my spin class, I wouldn't have done it.

    I have a meeting this evening for the Italian Heritage Society. It has been postponed twice so is  much later in the month than usual. I'm missing my church book club because of it. It is first board meeting so I feel I have to go.
