My son has got engaged to a girl who is not appropriate for him. She just wants to climb the social ladder. however, we have accepted everything and are keeping our mouths shut. We (my son and us parents) and the bride to be and her parents recently met at a restaurant to discuss some wedding matters. We all ordered what we wanted. My husband has dietary restrictions so he ordered his dietary restriction item. The bride's mother ordered her own dish and said she wants to taste what my husband has ordered and almost finished it and there was hardly anything left for him. The bride to be said she didnt like what she ordered and asked my son to finish it instead of ordering another item. If they cant finish the item, they can always doggybag it . And, you dont almost finish eating somebody else's order. We were just appalled by this behavior. And of course, we ended up paying for everything. Should I talk to my son that this is not appropriate behavior?I dont know if he noticed that this was not right. Please advice.
