  • Happy Thursday! H and I are off putting a new armoire together. We’ve decided the secret to doing this successfully is to listen to our own podcasts while we do it. I need to check and see if we actually got J an Easter basket last year. He was like two months old so I have idea if we did or not. 
  • Good luck on the presentation @Casadena. With questions in those meetings remember to take a brief pause before you answer so you’re ready. You’ll be great! 
  • good luck with the presentation @Casadena! I’m just not good at public speaking in general. I never relay from my head to my mouth lol.
    Yesterday was a lot of fun. Our team lost the bonus question and went from 2nd to 4th last night but i’m proud of us. I had some groupon bucks so used them for a Microneedle and RF treatment at a spa. That’s what a $800-$1000 morpheus 8 treatment really is but this was $350. I bet it’s not a morpheus 8 device so they can’t call it that. When I called, she couldn’t get me in until the 8th but that’s a good sign of a busy place I guess?

    I'm trying to get as much work as I can get done today before taking off tomorrow.  It's really for the PM activities because the kids are serving for Good Friday and then we have an additional activity (living stations of the cross) that Chiquita is participating in for tomorrow night.  We realized she needs new shoes so it's on the list for later.

    DH is still not sleeping and just wakes up exhausted.  I wish I could will my fatigue to be his sleep and it doesn't work that way.  My hope is that with no alarms he's able to wake up at least with somewhat better rest on Friday and Saturday.

    I was absolutely dead yesterday. I really overdid it Tuesday and had no spoons left. I ended up skipping a workout and just relaxing. H is so stressed with school right now. He’s totally on the edge. 

    Otherwise, SSDD. I need to drink some coffee.

  • I forced myself out of bed this morning at the time I want to be out of bed, but I'm paying for it.  But hoping this will start to get my schedule back into the zone I want.  I can't tell if my sleep gummies are still working -- I just finished a tolerance break and 10mg has always been more than enough for bedtime, but I seem to be needing 20mg.  I also suspect a formula change in the gummies I've used for forever, so I might need to find a different brand.  At the same time, I think this is some revenge bedtime procrastination over personal life events, so it'll pass.  I'm still not drinking alcohol and haven't indulged in spending for the dopamine hit, but sleep and food management are taking the hits.  Still healthier for me though, so I'll take the wins.

    Nothing much else going on, just work.  It's still somewhat of a cluster, but management is working with us to try and help get things under control in a way that makes everyone happy.
