Wedding Woes

Um, you were there too?

Dear Prudence,

My husband and I recently paid a visit to a sex club. While we were there, we spotted the woman who works as a nanny to our neighbor’s two children, who are 1 and 3. Should we say something to them?

Re: Um, you were there too?

  • Unless you saw the nanny doing something that could impair her ability to take care of the children (such as using drugs), I don't think it's really any of your business. And as the title points out, good luck telling your neighbors about seeing their nanny at a sex club without mentioning that you were there too!

    Did she take the kids?

And how are you planning to have that conversation? "Before I was about to swing with this Fabio-type I saw your Nanny had him first!"

Rules for thee but not for me indeed.

So, the nanny was on her own time, presumably having fun?

    Good lord, just shut up.

Right?  I'm assuming that the kids weren't there to get a lesson on a DP.
  • I kind of want her to tell the neighbor, just because I love the idea of opening a conversation with a random neighbor by telling them you're a swinger.

This type of bullshit thinking is why we have MAGA.

Furthermore, you were there and it wasn’t for the articles, so you’re either gonna lie to your neighbor about how you got the information to gossip about their nanny or your going to out yourself. Either way, you’re a hypocrite for even thinking about outing her.
  • I just… the hypocrisy.
