    Slightly bumpy morning with a student but a plan is in place.  Should be a quiet evening which is always a great thing.  Otherwise pretty SSDD.

    My friend and I came in last for trivia last night (sniff, sniff).  We haven't played trivia together in a long time and this was a first for me at this location, but we usually do really well!  The questions were pretty "entertainment" heavy, which is not our forte.

    But I got my "homebody" self out on a weeknight and it was really fun.  That was the main thing.  I even got home by 10pm, so am not regretting it today either.  Extra bonus, lol.

    It was supposed to rain here all day, but so far it's just been a little bit of mist and a bunch of humidity. So instead of being 85 and dry like it's been the last two weeks, today it's 80 and muggy. It does not feel like fall. 

    Nothing much else going on. I'm still dog sitting so my house is chaos. Work is pissing me off. Same old, same old.

    So tired here! J is waking up a lot at night. He puts himself right back to sleep but I’m still awake! 

    It’s rainy and cloudy here and all I want to do is sleep. Fun weekend planned just need to make it through tomorrow!

    Busy day here. I am covering work for other people and the way they have it organized is just...nonsensical. I ran into another coworker who is doing the same thing and we vented for a moment and it was nice to know someone else is seeing the madness as well because we both felt as though we were the only one to be experiencing it. It is also suuuuper grating to know that our [male] coworker who does a terrible but fast job is getting all of the kudos while we're getting pressured to speed up. Anyone can click a button and not really address an issue, but actually doing the work takes time.  

    It's my last day with my regular staff person before they go on leave and I am so so sad about it. My life is about to get a lot harder at work. I'm happy for her though. 

    Otherwise, I'm itching to leave. We are supposed to head out tomorrow for the conference I have. SIL A called me this morning not feeling well and I had to tell her to go to the ER, so she's there now and they're doing a bunch of tests and area also concerned about her symptoms. H has a doctor's appointment in the afternoon and I hope we get some forward momentum on referrals to figure out what's going on with him too. We are all falling apart. 

    As long as everyone's health allows and we can go to the conference, it should be a nice weekend. There's a farmer's market on Sunday in the town the conference is in, and I bet it will be super fun to explore.
