  This is why I said on the other post, I'd take that secret to my grave.  Your friend trusted you enough (and the book club) to share something that is BIG.  And your reaction is to dump her over something she had literally no control over.  Go ahead, she doesn't need friends like you.

  Why would any of that be her fault? She trusted you enough to tell you a big secret and this is how you react? You don’t deserve her as a friend.
