It’s slipped into more of a wintry feel, the kids even wore their lighter winter coats this morning, (although I’d take it over unseasonably warm).

Just having a quiet movie night tonight. Tomorrow will be errands and cooking for a family party tomorrow evening. On Sunday the kids and I are seeing Hamilton, it’ll be their first time seeing it on Broadway and they’re very excited.  We’re off Monday for Indigenous People/Columbus Day, I have our Christmas photo shoot at 8:30 and the weather’s looking like it’ll be a good stay to then stay in and do some low and slow cooking. I’m between chili and and beef stew so I’ll have the kids vote.
  • I love Hamilton. Enjoy @ei34.  Even the movie theatre release was excellent.
Two of my friends and myself went to a community college production of “The Crucible” last night. As much as I love Salem and the history, I actually never saw the play (or even seen the movie even though I own it). It was REALLY good and the college actors - you have no idea - they were amazing. I was watching their facial expressions even in non speaking moments and they did an awesome job being in the moment.
Lots of parents and students mostly. A student to the right of us kept on bursting out in laughter at the most inappropriate times. The crucible isn’t a comedy. They may have thrown in a “light laugh” line in twice, so it was really distracting that she kept on doing that (she was taking notes so was probably there for an assignment and knew the actors so seeing them so dramatic was maybe funny to her?) They literally put their heart and soul into this and didn’t break character when they heard only her burst out. Kudos to them! And trust me, people were glancing at her like “wtf lady!”

  • I cannot wait until the day is over. I am ready for a couple days off.

I think H broke a toe last night. I opened a bottom cabinet last night and a big glass Tupperware container fell onto his foot. I told him to come see me at work to get an x-ray but he didn't want to. I don't really blame him, I work far, and tbh even if the toe is broken it's not going to change any of the management for it beyond what I've already done. He's salty about it.

Not sure what our plans are for the whole weekend. Originally we were supposed to go to something Halloweenie (plans were TBD) with SIL A and her H but we could never decide and we're all pretty tired anyways. We are seeing Tron on Sunday. Otherwise, SSDD.

I hope everyone has a good weekend!
