Feeling a lot better today. Not full health, but better than yesterday, thankfully.

This evening should be quasi-quiet which will be nice. Pretty SSDD otherwise.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better!

I am just feeling so tired. I have an opportunity for a per diem job but the thought of always working 6 days a week feels unsustainable to me right now, especially because I've been able to pick up a couple hours here and there with my current job. But I also feel pressured to pick up a contingency job because of how everything is unraveling in healthcare and it might be a good job to transition into depending on the work load. So ugh. I hate decisions and change.

Otherwise, SSDD. More rain is coming in tonight.

Also still exhausted here. Baby J home again but seems to be doing better than yesterday. This morning H was like “my stomach doesn’t feel great I need to lay down” after I’d been up with J and I swear it took everything in me not to tell him to suck it up. J only wants me (or my mom if he can’t have me) right now and isn’t sleeping. Thankfully I’m WFH for the day.

Sending healthy vibes to everyone!

Today is my Friday! HAve a girls day with mom and sister tomorrow that will be really nice. Got our family pictures back and she did a great job AND i hate how I look even after cutting out a lot of alcohol and healthier eating the past month. definitely continuing and kicking it up a notch.

Trying to plow through as much as possible today at work so I have a slow week next week.

I don't want to jinx myself, but work seems to be settling in again. I'm actually working ahead today and looking forward, the drowning seems to have subsided.

Not too much going on. I think I might've finally found a toy that Harley is really loving. It's a rope with catnip in it. She's rubbing all over it and meowing right now. Might go see a movie tonight.

The work meeting was... disappointing. Job titles are being realigned across all sites, and duties will be different. We all need to apply and interview internally for the positions we want. I currently work at the enterprise level and am 90% WFH, which works well for our family situation. There is still a job with the same title at the enterprise level, but with different duties. To keep most of the things I do now, I need to move to the site level and work 50% onsite. We can select up to three positions for which we'd like to be considered. One is two pay grades above where I am now, but it's a hybrid position. We have to submit the application via a letter of intent by next EOB Tuesday. Interviews will begin after Thanksgiving, and offers will be extended by December 8. UGH

I'm on PTO tomorrow to set up for the big craft show. My heart isn't quite in it now, but it'll be nice to have something to keep my mind off the work business.

It's my birthday today! Another year on just the other side of 50, lol. Though I don't have any plans.

I went to trivia last night and it was fun. We came in "lower mid-pack", as usual.
This was pretty funny though. My H jokingly told me as I was leaving that, "One of the questions will be about a President and the answer will be Eisenhower."
That turned out to be true! The question was, "Which President established the Interstate Highway System?"

I was thinking to myself, "Ha! That could very well be Eisenhower. Seems like the right era." One of my teammates knew for sure it was, so we did answer correctly thanks to her and not so much because of my H's "clairvoyance", lol.

Things here are the same chaos as usual. Work is stabby, I'm behind everywhere and I just don't want to do any of it. I'm really looking forward to a break next week. I'm really hoping some time off work will be a good reset.

I went shopping today with my friend. We do this every year near Thanksgiving. I got some good deals for Christmas presents. I still have a few things to get but not many.
