you "may" be an AH

Dear Prudence,

My son and his wife just had what may be their first child. I say “may” because the baby has red hair, and neither my son nor my daughter-in-law nor anyone else in the family is a redhead. I’m convinced that she slept with another man. How do I persuade him that a DNA test is in order?

Re: you "may" be an AH

  • My BIL's mother pulled this shit. I'll give you 3 guesses why she had no relationship with her grandkids.
  • Contact with my in laws would end so fast if someone did that. My kids came out with black hair and are now basically blonde.
  • There are so many more reasons for this and LW is looking to burn some bridges.

Signed -- a red haired kid who went to dishwater blond and is now brunette (well purple, but naturally brunette).
  • GTFOOOOO.

Jeez! That’d be NC for me. With an IL like this, who needs enemies?!
Two of my kids’ hair color (they were all born with full heads of hair) have changed over the years. Newborn look does not equal forever look.
